A new chapter begins as Norfolk Children’s Book Centre arrives at Wroxham Barns

We’re delighted to welcome the Norfolk Children’s Book Centre to Wroxham Barns, as they open the doors to their new home within our Shopping Village.
For almost 40 years, this independent bookshop has been inspiring children and families across Norfolk with its passion for books, reading and helping people discover their next favourite story. Founded by Marilyn Brocklehurst, this family business has built a wonderful reputation for its carefully selected range of children’s books and the knowledgeable team who are always on hand to offer recommendations.
Following their move from Alby, the Norfolk Children’s Book Centre has settled into a new, larger space at Wroxham Barns. Taking residence in the barn that was previously our Farmyard Café and Willow Tree Delicatessen. This huge space has been transformed into a bright and welcoming shop filled with shelves of books waiting to be discovered. Located just on the right as you enter the Shopping Village from the car park, opposite Penney’s Flowers and Crafts Centre, their new space is easy to find and ready to welcome visitors.
Visitors can now explore a fantastic selection of children’s books, from much-loved classics to exciting new releases, whether you’re searching for a special gift, a bedtime story or simply looking for somewhere to enjoy a browse.
The team also has exciting plans for the future, with events and activities in the pipeline, so keep an eye out for what’s to come.
We’re thrilled to have Norfolk Children’s Book Centre as part of the Wroxham Barns Shopping Village and look forward to seeing visitors enjoy this wonderful new addition.
The Norfolk Children’s Book Centre will be open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am–5pm, and closed on Mondays.
