Once Upon a Fright at NCBC

Get ready for a frightfully good time this Halloween at Norfolk Children’s Book Centre! Join the team at the bookshop on Saturday 31st October for a day of spooky fun, Halloween stories and a little trick-or-treat magic.

Whether you’re popping in for a creepy tale, exploring the bookshop on a treasure hunt or getting dressed up in your spookiest costume, there’s plenty to get little witches, ghosts and ghouls into the Halloween spirit.

What’s happening?

Trick or Treat: Make a purchase in the bookshop on Halloween and see if you win a special treat! A little bit of spooky shopping could bring an extra surprise.

Spooky Storytimes: Gather round for some frightfully fun Halloween stories. Storytimes take place at 10:30am and 1:30pm, and are free to enjoy.

Halloween Treasure Hunt: Explore the bookshop, complete the treasure hunt and claim a sticker! This activity is free, so get ready to put your detective skills to the test.

Come in your Halloween costume: Dust off those capes, straighten those witch’s hats and come along dressed for the occasion.
