Brand New Adventure Play Area

Adventure play is here!

The brand new adventure play area at Adventure Farm is now open and ready to explore. Designed to inspire active play, imaginations and confidence, this outdoor play space has already become a favourite part of the farm experience.

This exciting play zone blends seamlessly into our farm environment and offers fun for all ages - from climbing and balancing to imaginative play and free running. It has been thoughtfully created with families in mind and is suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.

Opening this Easter

We’re excited to announce that a brand new adventure play area is coming to Wroxham Barns and will open just in time for the Easter holidays. Construction begins after the February half term, and we can’t wait to welcome families to explore, climb, play and imagine in this exciting new space.

Expect big adventures, fresh challenges and even more reasons to spend the day with us.

What's Changed?

We’ve made space for our brand new Adventure Play Area by retiring the jumping frogs, pirate ships, and Robinson’s cars rides. This fresh space offers a more immersive, hands-on experience where children can climb, explore, and play freely.

The new play area sits alongside existing favourites, including the train ride, jumping pillows, sand pit, and mini golf, so there’s plenty of fun for the whole family.

Introducing our new adventure farm

Now the new play area is complete, our farm and fun park will come together as one joined-up experience - a brand new Adventure Farm.

This means:

  • Seamless access between the farm, fun park and play areas

  • Even more activities included in your visit

  • A full day of adventure for the whole family

Our Adventure Farm will combine outdoor play, animal experiences and family fun all in one place.

Who we're working with

We’re working with a family-run playground specialist with over 20 years of experience creating safe, exciting outdoor play equipment. Originally founded by a father-and-son team of joiners, they remain passionate about quality craftsmanship, personal service and building play spaces children love.

Got a question?

See if you can find the answer below.

We removed the jumping frogs, pirate ships and robinsons cars after the February half term (week commencing 23rd February). The much loved train ride has stayed.

All of the improvements have taken place within the Fun Park area only. The farm will remain just as visitors know and love it, with the same animals, experiences and hands-on farm fun.

Adventure Farm brings together our Junior Farm and Fun Park under one name, creating a more joined-up experience for families. As part of this evolution, we’re moving away from mechanical rides and introducing a brand-new adventure play area, focused on active, imaginative play.

We’re making space for a new adventure play area. This allows us to offer a more immersive, hands-on experience where children can climb, explore and play freely, alongside existing favourites such as the train ride, jumping pillows, sand pit and mini golf.

Our new adventure play has been created with families in mind and is suitable for a wide range of ages. With dedicated play areas for little ones and more adventurous elements for older children, there’s something for everyone to enjoy together.

We’ll continue to share updates on our website and social media as work progresses.

Yes! Adventure Farm is wheelchair and pushchair friendly, with accessible paths throughout the site. Most  areas are suitable for all visitors, and there are ramps and wide walkways to make it easy to get around.

We understand that many of our visitors love the rides, however they involve significant ongoing costs for staffing, maintenance and energy use. As part of our longer-term plans for Wroxham Barns, we’re taking a careful look at how we use our resources, including reducing energy consumption and operating more sustainably wherever we can.

It’s important for us to thoughtfully plan how we evolve the site so we can continue to invest in new experiences, protect the future of the business, and ensure we’re able to offer something enjoyable, responsible and sustainable for visitors now and in the years ahead.

We’d love to be able to use the grassed area, but unfortunately planning permission means we’re not able to build there currently. We have made the decision to remove the rides which gives us the perfect location for something new.

The new adventure play has been thoughtfully designed with inclusivity in mind. Some areas of the equipment are accessible with assistance, and we’ve worked with award-winning playground specialists to create an engaging and imaginative space that can be enjoyed by all children. In addition, our farm and shopping village continues to offer accessible gravel pathways.

We’ll continue to offer great value tickets that reflect all the attractions on offer alongside our seasonal events.
