Wroxham Barns Sponsors St John's Primary’s First Ever Colour Run – A Splash of Fun and Fundraising
18th May 2025
A rainbow of joy swept through Hoveton on May 18th as St John's Primary School held its first-ever Colour Run, proudly sponsored by local family attraction Wroxham Barns.
The event, held on the school grounds, was bursting with energy, laughter, and a whole lot of colourful powder as pupils, staff, and families came together for a fun-filled afternoon—all in the name of a good cause. Thanks to the incredible community turnout and generous sponsorship, the event raised a significant amount of money to support the school’s ongoing projects and enrichment activities.
“It was amazing to see the whole school community come together,” said one of the event organisers. “The kids had a fantastic time, and we’re so grateful to Wroxham Barns for helping us make this happen.”
The sponsorship from Wroxham Barns, a much-loved local attraction, helped cover event costs and ensured maximum funds could go directly to the school. Known for its family-friendly experiences, farm animals, and seasonal events, Wroxham Barns continues to strengthen its ties with the local community through initiatives like this.
The Colour Run not only brought a splash of colour to the village but also showed what can be achieved when local businesses and schools collaborate. There are already whispers that this could become an annual tradition—and judging by the smiles and stained T-shirts, the whole community would welcome it back with open arms.
