JOIN OUR TEAM
There are lots of lovely reasons to visit Wroxham Barns but our most important asset is our people.
Buildings don’t give good customer service or go the extra mile. Buildings don’t see when customers need help or are not happy with their experience. Only people can do that.
We have a diverse workforce in terms of gender, age and experience. We need staff to serve our customers in our shops, restaurant, coffee shop and to care for our animals on Junior Farm. The crucial attribute that is non-negotiable is a tendency to smile (which you will do if you are enjoying your work) and a desire to do your very best to help our team exceed our customers expectations.
We do not promise to give you an interview but we will let you know what’s possible. Before applying, you may want to have a good look at our website, and check us out on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter!

Jack or Jill of all trades – vacancy
Published 28th February 2021
Wroxham Barns is a family run business which has been providing a great day out for children and adults alike for over 38 years. Food, shopping, and family fun are at the heart of what we do.
We are an established business with a great reputation, with big plans to grow over the next few years and beyond!
We have 2 cafes, a children’s farm & fun park, gift shop plus 11 tenanted retail studios.
We are on the lookout for a super versatile, experienced, and self-motivated Jack or Jill of all trades, who can turn their hand to most things to help ensure our site is always presentable, organised and undertake ad hoc repairs as and when required which may include one day repairing a water trough the next painting or repairing a fence. No two days are the same.
We are looking for someone self-motivated with an eye for detail who does not mind mucking in to get the job done, whether that be sweeping, cleaning, helping our farm team muck out animals and even serving customers if we are short staffed.
Some areas of the site are old and so an air of imagination when completing repairs is required.
The ideal person will have a fun personality, can do attitude as well as a practical mind and skillset.
This is a singular role, so you must be comfortable working on your own, outdoors in various weather conditions, but also have a team mentality as you will be working in various areas around our site with our team and tenants. You will be working on a site with the general public around you, so great customer service and interaction is a must.
This is a part time role, with a minimum of 20 hours, over 4 days (including 1 day at a weekend) the flexibility to work more days and hours during school holidays and when we have special projects is important.
Rate of pay: £9.75
