Flower Fairy and Fantasy in the Norfolk Broads

Norfolk farmer’s daughter Jan Blanch has always loved flowers and wildlife and started to paint them at an early age. She exhibited some of her paintings at the Wroxham Barns opening day more than 20 years ago and was so successful that two weeks later she gave up her job to concentrate on her art. She now has a studio/workshop at Wroxham Barns where you can see the full range of her art.

Jan sells her work throughout the UK and internationally. A commission received from high street chemists Boots for 640,000 packs of notecards took six months to complete. A Japanese buyer also exports her paintings to Japan where he has dedicated a large section of his gallery to her work.

Jan runs flower painting workshops at her studio in West Somerton which are open to artists of all abilities. She also takes groups on painting holidays to Corfu each Spring and Autumn.
