By Car
Major trunk roads to the Norwich area from London and the South East of England are the M11, A11, A12, A140 and A14, while visitors from the Midlands and the North are served by the A47. A17 and A1. From Norwich, take the A1151 north towards Wroxham, then follow the ‘brown and white’ tourist signs for 1.5 miles on the Tunstead Road. From the North Norfolk coast, take the A1151 via Stalham or North Walsham.
By Rail
Rail operator ‘one’ runs InterCity half hourly services between London Liverpool Street and Norwich. A direct service links Cambridge and Norwich, while Central Trains offer connecting services from the Midlands, north of England and Scotland via Peterborough. Local connecting services are run from Norwich to Wroxham via the Bittern Line. Taxis are available from the station or village of Wroxham to Wroxham Barns.

Daily National Express services are operated from all major cities into Norwich’s central station where they connect with Norfolk’s Excel inter-urban coach network to Wroxham.

The BroadsHopper
The BroadsHopper is a local bus service which allows passengers to explore the heart of the Broads. It operates between Acle and Aylsham/Blickling Hall with ticketing available from and to Norwich and Great Yarmouth. There are daily drop-offs at Wroxham Barns and the service operates as a hail and ride service, so if you see it, you can wave the vehicle to stop. By Cycle or On Foot
There are numerous waymarked cycle paths in the area offering everything from short leisurely rides to more challenging distance routes and cycle hire is available locally in Wroxham.
Wroxham Barns is also linked to the village of Wroxham by the only privately-owned footpath in Norfolk and is a short 15-minute walk.
