We've got events for everyone! There's lots going on, here's what's coming up…
Summer Calf Feeding on
15th June to September 2017
We’ll need your help on Junior Farm with bottle feeding our hungry calves – 11am and 3pm daily from Saturday 15th July. Everybody loves to join in! There’s a full programme of animal activities every day for budding Junior Farmers and your entry wristband allows you to come and go all day as often as you wish so the little ones will have time to try out the indoor play area too.
July – September 2017
Junior Farm welcomes our baby calves
In addition to our daily programme of activities on Junior Farm, join us at 11am and 3pm to help with bottle feeding our calves. Their mothers are dairy cows, busy producing lots of lovely milk for our breakfasts and cups of tea so their calves move on to us to look after them once they’ve had a nice healthy start in life so their mums will continue to produce milk.
The return of Norfolk’s very own Foolhardy Circus
Roll up, Roll up as Norfolk’s very own Foolhardy Circus bring their Big Top back to Wroxham Barns with the all-new Custard Pie Show. Daily at 12.00 and 2.00pm from 31st July to 3rd September, tickets are just £6 each and under 2’s are free. There’s no need to book but please be sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Please note that there are NO Shows on 5th, 13th, 19th August and 2nd September. All the family will love this classic tale of a clown falling in love with the trapeze artist and he’ll do anything to impress her – including leaping head first from the top of a very tall ladder into a giant custard pie! There’s breathtaking skills, lots of laughs, wows and whoops along with juggling and acrobatic skills and death-defying aerial artistry, oh and music too!
21st – 29th October 2017
On Junior Farm there will be spooktacular goings-on with face painting, a prize hunt and arts & crafts.
- Don’t miss the pumpkin carving competition at Scrummy Pig – buy your pumpkin, carve it and enter a photo with a Halloween gift bag to be won every day.
- In the Made By You Studio create your own unique “treat” – a creepy decopatch skull, cat or spider
- For the grown-ups browse the craft studios for Halloween inspiration – discover “spirits” at the Norfolk Cider Shop, “out of this world” artwork at The Norfolk Gallery and, if you dare, try the “Certain Death” ultra-hot chilli sauce at Scrummy Pig. Then pop into Courtyard Confectionery to fill your Trick or Treat tub for those “spooky” visitors at your door.
