Fun Fair Supervisor
Wroxham Barns children’s fun fair (operated by P & J Amusements) is looking for a new supervisor. We are eager to find a well rounded individual to run the fair in this popular local tourist attraction.
Remuneration will be competitive and based on previous experience. We offer a generous staff discount package, the normal working week is 37½ hours, with 20 days paid holiday annually.
The position requires:
· Management/training of new staff.
· Handling of customers and customer service.
· Basic maintenance of the site.
· Getting the site ready prior to opening.
· Daily checks.
· First aid (training can be arranged).
· Making up weekly wage packets.
· Cash Handling/banking
· Daily/weekly reporting
· Ensuring site is kept clean and tidy throughout the day
· Rotas for staff
You will be required to work 190 days per year. The salary is negotiable depending on experience. As the job is seasonal you will be required to work 6 days per week for 19 weeks and 2-3 days 27 weeks of the year, click here to see most of the required working days.
Previous experience in fun fair management or management in general is not required as full training will be provided. However, previous experience will be advantageous. Applicants must be able to work well with young staff and be patient with children and parents.
