Judges Karen Buchanan, BBC Radio Norfolk, Glyn Williams, season magazine, Neil Haverson, Let's Talk and Helen Wallace a Let's Talk competition winner (All pictured in the top photo) munched their way through a superb selection of plain, cheese, fruit and freestyle scones.

Category winners were:
  · Plain – Teresa Grant from Thorpe St Andrew (Middle photo)
  · Cheese – Mrs Christmas from Swafield
  · Fruit – Ann Massingham from Cockthorpe
  · Freestyle – Chloe Fowle from Binham

Teresa Grant was the most successful competitor coming third in fruit and freestyle, as well as winning the plain scone category.

The freestyle category, which was new for 2008, attracted an exciting range of ingredients including salami, chives, syrup, cherries and blueberries.

Ian Russell, Director Wroxham Barns said: "Thank you to everyone who entered our scone competition. I am particularly pleased that several people rose to the challenge of the freestyle category and look forward to even more ingenious concoctions next year. I would also like to thanks our judges for their hard work and dedication in the search for the best scones."
