Present-buying is a pleasure at WB in the Norfolk Broads

For mothers, sisters and girlfriends, something beautiful from Wroxham Barns’ new collections of ceramics and housewares by Emma Bridgewater, Burleigh and Gabrielle Miller. For example:
A teapot from Emma Bridgewater’s perennially popular Polka Dot collection (price £49.99) or:.
:..this lovely coffee mug, (price £10.99) also by Emma Bridgewater from her distinctive Pink Hearts collection.
Burleigh’s kitchenwares meanwhile (pictured below) are both stylish and quintessentially English, conjuring up images of afternoon tea on the lawn in summer - even on the coldest winter days. Prices start at £4.99 for an egg-cup.
Women can never have too many handbags, but something from Emmerson’s beautiful and stylish leather collections is sure to be used again and again. Available from Wroxham Barns’ newly refurbished upstairs Gallery, pictured below is the Hampton range (large £85, small £65):.
:and the Kensington range (pictured below) in both green and wine, at £85.
Striking and unique ceramics will always be welcome gifts and Tricia Francis, Wroxham Barns’ resident potter, makes and sells an extensive collection of kitchenwares in her studio, including butter dishes, mugs, egg cups, and a charming and very popular teaspoon and teabag holder, for just £12. Tricia has recently introduced a new splash-glazed range of bowls and platters and punch jugs, (pictured below) with prices ranging from £8 to £80. They have endless uses, or buy them simply as beautiful pieces in their own right
For husbands, fathers and brothers How about a print taken from an original drawing by artist Chris Hutchins, Wroxham Barns’ longest-serving resident craftsman? His new range of black and white prints of classic British bikes, were inspired by the collection at North Walsham Motorcycle Museum and cost from £12.95 framed. Chris also has an extensive collection of prints of Norfolk.
For scientifically-minded sons and nephews. - A Technokit Build & Play model. Choose from Buzzwire, Alarm, Air Trike or Land Yacht, all of which cost just £9.99. They don’t need glue (hurrah!) and although aimed at 8-year olds and above, we think Dad would be more than happy to give a helping hand to younger recipients.
For younger children, - Wroxham Barns stocks an extensive range of traditional toys and gifts, including a large selection of educational and fun Orchard Toys, colourful wooden jewellery by Tatini and adorable cuddlies by Jellycat . New this year is a range of Bukowski teddy bears which are hugely popular in Europe with both children and collectors, but only to be found in Norfolk at Wroxham Barns. The teddies are designed in Sweden by the eponymous Barbara Bukowski and each is named after a famous person.
Pictured below is Sigismund the King £12.99, named after a King of Sweden from the 16th century.
A full Christmas menu will be available throughout December in The Old Barn at Wroxham Barns or if you are looking for something lighter, stop for coffee and one of their homemade mince pies.
Entrance to Wroxham Barns is free and there is ample free parking. There is wheelchair access to all of the craft studios, the Gallery, and the tea room.
