2 for 1 Traditional Cream Teas in the Norfolk Broads

Two Traditional Cream Teas for the Price of One as Wroxham Barns celebrates the Norwich Food Festival
Visitors to Wroxham Barns during the Norwich Food Festival this year (October 13th - 22nd) can receive two Traditional Cream Teas for the price of one, and also take part in other food-related activities and promotions.
The Wroxham Barns Traditional Cream Tea features delicious, home-made, freshly baked scones, thick cream, and Norfolk produced jam, served, of course, with a proper cup of tea from a teapot! It also includes a freshly made sandwich with a choice of filling, all for £5.95. During the Food Festival, visitors who produce something with a food festival logo on it will receive two Cream Teas for the price of one.
"We have been making, baking and serving our home-made scones for over 23 years. We’ve estimated that we’ve made over 500,000 scones in our kitchens, so I think that makes us the rightful hosts for this event." said Wroxham Barns’ director Ian Russell.
Visitors can also use their food festival logo to receive 20% off everything in the wonderful range of locally produced jams, preserves, marinades, spice mixes, fruit wines, and other gourmet goodies at Wroxham Barns’ Country Food Shop.
Apple and cider lovers meanwhile should make a point of visiting the Barns on Saturday October 14th and Sunday October 15th between 2.30pm and 3.30pm when Stephen Fisher of the Norfolk Cider Company will be demonstrating traditional apple pressing. The Norfolk Cider Company is now the oldest cider making company in the county and Stephen still uses antique, Norfolk apple-pressing equipment. Stephen will also be available to talk about traditional apple milling and pressing between 12 and 4pm.
